A Male in Autumn Colors

That morning, I got up at 4am. After two hours on the road, the sun had just risen when I arrived at the place I was looking for to observe spruce grouse. It was the first time in my life that I had the chance to observe these magnificent birds and nature blessed me. A couple was eating small pebbles on the gravel road I was on and the fall colors were at their peak. I had the chance to observe this male for about 20 minutes while lying on the wet gravel road.
